Why I Built It

I love Neocities for its simplicity, but managing files from the command line or browser can get tedious—especially when juggling multiple sites or needing to upload folders recursively.

I wanted something visual, small, and efficient. No Electron bloat, no forced logins, no background telemetry, just a clean desktop tool that does what it says.

The app connects directly to the Neocities API and gives you everything you need to manage your site in one window:

• Authentication: Use your API key or login credentials. The app encrypts and saves them locally so you don’t have to re-enter them each time.
• Upload Files: Pick single files and send them straight to your site.
• Push Directory: Upload entire folders recursively, with options to exclude files or run a dry test before uploading.
• Pull Files: Download your live files to your computer—perfect for backups or comparing local and remote versions.
• List Files: Browse your Neocities directory tree.

When you open the app, you’ll see a clean welcome screen where you can choose an existing profile or create a new one.
